The Opportunity

As a Senior Product Designer for Grafana Cloud’s Knowledge Graph, you'll join a global Product Design organization of more than 25 designers, researchers, engineers, and design leaders. You will design experiences for the context layer of Grafana Cloud powering our entity graph, entity catalog, and RCA workbench.

Knowledge Graph automatically discovers services, infrastructure, and databases from telemetry, maps dependencies, and runs anomaly detection—giving engineers, SREs, and AI agents an up-to-date view of system health to resolve incidents faster.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Enable customers to easily understand and explore how complex systems connect.
• Translate complex technical data and research into intuitive, easy-to-digest user experiences.
• Tailor experiences to different target audiences and user perspectives.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, technical writing, and GTM teams.
• Balance user impact, business priorities, customer needs, and technical considerations.
• Document user needs, design directions, UX trade-offs, and detailed feature specs.
• Execute and contribute to qualitative and quantitative research initiatives with users and community members.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 7+ years of relevant product design experience working on enterprise/B2B software products, ideally for technical users or developers.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design solutions for complex products in fast-paced environments.
• Experience conducting qualitative user research in complex, technical fields.
• Proven ability to balance business goals, technical constraints, and user feedback.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across multiple global time zones.
• High attention to detail and eagerness to learn deep technical domains.
• Proven success working in a fully remote, transparent, and autonomous environment.

Bonus Points

• Experience designing data-dense, complex user interfaces.
• Background or domain knowledge in observability, cloud infrastructure, or database monitoring.
• Experience leveling up design team practices, workflows, or cross-functional alignment.
