Senior Solutions Architect - Grafana Labs

About the Role

Grafana Labs is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect (Professional Services) to join our world-class Customer Experience team. This is a hands-on role for technically skilled professionals who thrive on helping customers solve complex problems, accelerate adoption, and drive real business outcomes with Grafana at the center.

As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as a trusted technical partner—not a quota-carrying seller, but a customer-first advocate who leads with authenticity and insight. You'll guide organizations through onboarding, implementation, and expansion by offering white-glove support, best practices, and proven strategies gathered from across our customer base.

You will operate with one foot in the code and the other in the customer’s world, navigating container orchestration in Kubernetes, fine-tuning Prometheus queries, and clarifying the nuances between logs, metrics, and traces.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work effectively with customers, including business executives, project managers, and IT development staff.
• Understand business needs and distill information into clear technical and business requirements.
• Translate complex requirements into solution designs, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture.
• Act as a functional lead, running workshops with customers, documenting requirements, and designing solutions.
• Accelerate solution delivery for customers with speed and precision.
• Advocate for adherence to standards, architecture patterns, and observability best practices.
• Stay current on Grafana Labs products, observability ecosystems, and related cloud technologies.
• Serve as a key feedback partner for Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Based in the Netherlands.
• 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams using project management techniques.
• Direct hands-on experience with observability (o11y).
• Proven expertise in deploying and using observability stacks (visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, traces)—preferably with Grafana products (Grafana, Prometheus/Cortex/Enterprise Metrics, Loki/Enterprise Logs, Jaeger/Tempo).
• Proven track record of successful customer project delivery, preferably enterprise observability implementations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep familiarity with Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, Tanka).
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: €109,697 - €131,636 EUR (dependent on experience and assessment).
• Equity: Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) included with all roles.
• Annual Leave: 30 days of annual leave per year (including 3 company-wide Grafana Shutdown Days).
