Senior Solutions Architect - Grafana Labs

Grafana Labs is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect (Professional Services) to join our Customer Experience team. This is a highly hands-on technical role focused on helping customers solve complex observability challenges, accelerate adoption, and drive business outcomes using Grafana Cloud and open-source tooling.

As a trusted technical partner, you will lead with authenticity and insight rather than sales quotas, guiding organizations through onboarding, architecture implementation, and expansion.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work effectively with customers, including business executives, project managers, and IT engineering staff.
• Understand complex business needs and distill them into clear technical requirements.
• Translate requirements into robust solution designs, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale observability architectures.
• Act as a functional lead, leading workshops with customers, documenting requirements, and designing solutions.
• Act as the fulcrum to accelerate delivery and deployment of customer solutions.
• Advocate for standards, best practices, and observability excellence.
• Stay current on Grafana Labs products, the open-source ecosystem, and observability technologies.
• Serve as a critical feedback loop for internal Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Located in the United Kingdom.
• 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams using project management methodologies.
• Direct hands-on experience with observability (o11y).
• Strong knowledge of best practices for deploying and utilizing an observability stack (metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards), preferably with Grafana, Prometheus, Cortex, Loki, Jaeger, or Tempo.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery for large enterprise observability implementations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and executive audiences.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, or Tanka).
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary Range: £103,900 - £124,500 GBP.
• Equity: Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) included for all team members.
