Senior Solutions Engineer, Acquisition - Grafana Labs

The Opportunity

Grafana Labs is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our high-growth Enterprise Solutions Engineering team. As a customer-facing product expert, you will play a pivotal role in our worldwide growth by educating potential and existing customers, ensuring their success with the Grafana Cloud platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Technical Engagement: Own the technical relationship with customers, helping to close high-velocity opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge and technical credibility.
• Value Articulation: Partner with the Sales team to communicate the Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy.
• Product Expertise: Deliver technical presentations and product demos to potential and existing customers.
• Feedback Loop: Act as a primary communication channel between customers and our internal Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Content Creation: Contribute to documentation, blog posts, video content, and internal enablement materials.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Experience: 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally within Open Source technologies or the Metrics/Monitoring space.
• Communication: First-class written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical advantages clearly.
• Technical Mindset: A desire to grow technically; experience with coding bootcamps, post-sales, or engineering is a plus.
• Collaboration: Ability to thrive in a remote-first, international environment.
• Location Preference: Ideally located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Chicago, Michigan, Indiana, or Ohio.
