Solutions Engineer - Grafana Labs

The Opportunity

The Solutions Engineering team are customer-facing product experts who enable Grafana Labs' worldwide growth by educating potential and existing customers. We share technical and product expertise through demos, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing interaction. We partner closely with Sales to help qualify and close opportunities and serve as a primary feedback loop to Product Management and Engineering.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will listen to prospects and customers, extract technical requirements, and translate them into architecture powered by Grafana Labs technology.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partnering with Sales to articulate overall Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy.
• Owning technical engagements with customers and helping close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge and technical skill.
• Delivering product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Communicating customer feedback and competitive landscape insights to internal product teams.
• Driving conversations around technical needs and problems with customers.
• Enhancing documentation, writing blog posts, recording videos, contributing knowledge base articles, and creating enablement material.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
• Comfort with complex technical assignments requiring strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English to collaborate with distributed teams and worldwide customers.
• Passion for solving technical challenges and bringing creative solutions to customers.
• Must be located in France.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Open Source technologies or the Metrics/Monitoring/Observability space.
• Experience with sales methodologies like MEDD(P)ICC.

Compensation & Rewards

In France, the OTE (On-Target Earnings) compensation range for this role is EUR 103,750 - EUR 128,000. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), giving every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success.
