About Homeward

Homeward takes the “what ifs” out of homebuying by creating financial products that give buyers and sellers certainty and convenience. We’re a fast-paced, remote-first real estate startup that partners with real estate agents to offer innovative products and services, helping clients buy with cash, sell with certainty, and time their move, regardless of the market.

Founder and CEO Tim Heyl started Homeward in 2018 to fix the antiquated and broken real estate process. Today, we offer bundled cash offers, mortgage, and title services across 13 states, enabling buyers and sellers to move with certainty and convenience.

We’re a fully remote company with a diverse team spread across several countries—grounded in three core values: The Golden Rule, One Team One Dream, and Calm Focus.

About the Opportunity

As the Manager of Agent Success at Homeward, you'll lead and significantly scale our Agent Success team at a pivotal stage of growth. You'll build on an established playbook for prospecting, activating, and growing agent referral relationships—bringing leadership, operating rigor, and field expertise to expand the team quickly and effectively.

We're looking for a proven leader who has built and led high-performing field business development teams in the real estate industry, with a track record of hiring and ramping reps quickly, setting clear expectations, and consistently achieving or exceeding team quotas. You'll be responsible for translating strategy into execution in the field, developing leaders and reps, and creating the systems and culture that allow a growing team to perform at a high level.

Note: This role may require travel throughout the United States.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Scale the team: Hire, onboard, and ramp field business development reps against an ambitious growth plan, building a high-performing team that scales with the business.
  • Run and evolve the playbook: Equip new and existing business development reps to execute Homeward's established prospecting, activation, and referral-growth playbook while identifying opportunities to improve it.
  • Coach for performance: Build a strong coaching culture through regular 1:1s, role play, call reviews, and ongoing professional development.
  • Own the team's numbers: Set clear goals and manage to KPIs that drive success, including in-person activity, agent referrals, pipeline, and closed deals. Review performance and pipeline regularly to proactively address gaps.
  • Build a culture of accountability: Set a high bar for execution and performance, create clarity around expectations, and consistently coach toward results.
  • Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with Sales leadership, Recruiting, Marketing, Operations, Title, and Mortgage to ensure the field team has the resources and alignment needed to succeed.

What You'll Bring

  • Real estate business development leadership: 3–5+ years managing a field business development or sales team in the real estate industry, leading reps who build relationships and generate business in the field.
  • Team-building track record: Experience hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching business development or sales reps, ideally during periods of rapid growth.
  • Consistent quota achievement: Experience personally leading teams accountable to meaningful revenue or production targets, consistently meeting or exceeding goals.
  • High-accountability management style: Comfortable setting clear expectations, using data to understand performance, and addressing gaps constructively.
  • Strong operating discipline: Highly organized and reliable, with the ability to maintain a consistent management cadence while operating with significant autonomy.
  • Player-development mindset: Skilled at coaching reps to improve capabilities, build confidence, and deliver results while developing high-potential talent.
  • Growth orientation: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and energized by building and scaling systems.
