The Opportunity
At EIG, a subsidiary of Kin Insurance, you won't be dialing cold. Our leads are inbound and high-intent, giving you the opportunity to have real conversations and build lasting relationships with customers actively looking for coverage.
In this role, you will help drive business growth by connecting with prospective customers and recommending insurance solutions through multiple A-rated carriers. You’ll provide expert consultation on homeowners coverage as well as complementary policies such as auto, umbrella, and flood insurance.
Shift & Schedule Requirements
- Work Schedule: Monday–Friday (No weekend shifts required)
- Training: Mandatory paid training for the first 2+ weeks (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST)
- Post-Training Hours: Operating hours fall between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST (8-hour shifts plus a 30-minute lunch break)
Responsibilities
- Connect with potential customers via phone, email, and text to understand their insurance needs and recommend tailored coverage solutions.
- Clearly communicate features and benefits from multiple insurance carriers.
- Work primarily with company-provided qualified leads to maximize sales conversion rates.
- Consistently follow up with prospects through the sales funnel to meet or exceed targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriters and customer service teams for a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools.
- Build customized policies using internal quoting tools and educate homeowners on their coverage options.
- Stay current on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings.
What You'll Bring
- Experience: 1+ years of insurance sales experience in a fast-paced brokerage environment.
- Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
- Multi-carrier Sales: Experience selling across multiple carriers in multiple states (home, auto, umbrella, etc.).
- Skills: Strong communication, rapport-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Technical: Experience using CRM platforms, sales tools, and contact center environments.
Bonus Qualifications
- Bilingual ability (Spanish preferred)
- Experience with Citizens Property Insurance

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $45,000
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $70,000+ (Uncapped monthly commission starting from the first policy sold)
- Growth: Potential promotion to Senior level after one year in good standing, coming with an increased base salary.
