About the Role
Lokalise is looking for a Senior People Partner who can turn the priorities of G&A and GTM leaders into clear, practical people decisions, while ensuring continuity during a 12-month parental leave cover. In a distributed business operating across multiple countries, decisions about organizational structure, performance, compensation, talent, and employee relations are closely connected to business performance and require experienced judgment.
This role will help leaders build effective teams, address complex people matters early, and make data-informed decisions about organizational design, workforce investment, and talent. By connecting business needs with a consistent, human-first People approach, the Senior People Partner will reduce organizational and employment risk, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and help teams remain focused and perform through change.
Please note: This is a fixed-term, remote position. We do not engage on a B2B or contractor basis. You must reside and have the legal right to work in the UK, Spain, or Latvia for this position.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the dedicated People Partner for G&A and GTM functions (Finance, Legal, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success), owning the full HRBP relationship with those leaders and their teams across a distributed, remote-first workforce.
- Lead and support your stakeholder groupsβ priorities across all areas of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and development.
- Partner directly with Finance to model compensation cycle budgets for your client groups, translating headcount and market data into actionable recommendations.
- Manage EOR engagements (primarily Oyster) for employees in your client groups, navigating the full employment cycle and compliance requirements across multiple European jurisdictions.
- Lead complex ER cases autonomously, with direct engagement with EOR partners and external legal advisors where needed.
- Drive org design work within your client groups: job architecture, JD development, level changes, and promotion cases, keeping role definitions sharp as the business scales.
- Partner with the Senior HRBP for Product & Engineering and with People Ops to deliver a coherent, consistent people approach company-wide, including shared cycle ownership and cross-functional coordination.
- Bring a business-first perspective to every HRBP conversation, showing up with a point of view, data-backed recommendations, and a bias for moving things forward rather than waiting to be asked.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in People processes and practices to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience within a remote environment.
What You Must Have
- A business-first, human-forward approach to your craft.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 1 year in a senior HRBP or HR leadership role.
- Experience working with a fully remote or distributed team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with the ability to build effective relationships in a remote work environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in all areas of HR, including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational design.
- Demonstrated proactivity in leveraging AI to increase impact.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business goals and translate them into HR strategies and initiatives.
