Not Your Typical Workplace…
Tired of the 9-to-5 grind? Imagine a world without borders, where opportunities are endless. That's the future of work, and what we are building at WorkMotion. Our remote-first team spans across the world, helping companies hire, onboard, and manage talent internationally through smart, flexible workforce solutions. Fast-paced, people-driven, and globally connected — we empower businesses to build teams without borders.
More Than a Role
We don’t just need a HR Operations Specialist — we need someone who is organised, customer-focused, and passionate about delivering an exceptional employee experience. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, navigating HR processes, and ensuring every interaction is accurate, compliant, and delivered with care. You will work with employment matters across multiple European countries, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders in a truly international environment.
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to stay in their lane. You’ll be at the center of it all — supporting employees and clients throughout the employment lifecycle, coordinating with multiple internal teams, and helping ensure our HR operations run smoothly, efficiently, and compliantly across different countries.
You won’t be a solo operator. You’ll collaborate with clients, employees, leadership, legal, payroll, finance, product, and external partners, bringing everything together to ensure consistency, impact, and momentum across the board.
Where Responsibility Meets Real Opportunity…
- Support HR Operations across assigned countries, managing onboarding and employee lifecycle activities while serving as a key point of contact for clients and employees on day-to-day HR matters.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and internal processes by following country-specific requirements, identifying potential risks, and escalating complex issues where appropriate.
- Deliver a high-quality employee and client experience by resolving HR queries, supporting key employment events, and providing timely, accurate, and customer-focused solutions.
- Execute HR processes efficiently and accurately while contributing to continuous process improvements, standardisation, and operational excellence across multiple countries.
- Collaborate with Legal, Payroll, Finance, Product, and external partners to ensure smooth delivery of HR services and accurate execution of employee lifecycle activities.
- Support reporting, audits, HR administration, knowledge management, and operational projects that contribute to the success and growth of the business.
What It Takes to Make an Impact Here…
- 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Lifecycle Management, HR Advisory, or a similar client-facing HR role.
- Good working knowledge of employment law and HR practices, with the ability to confidently manage onboarding, employee lifecycle processes, and day-to-day HR operations.
- Ability to balance customer needs, compliance requirements, and business objectives in a fast-paced international environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
Bonus Points If You Bring…
- Experience working in an Employer of Record (EOR), global mobility, payroll, or international HR environment.
- Experience supporting multinational clients across multiple jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms and process improvement initiatives.
- Additional European language skills and knowledge in employment law.
