About the Role

As a Forward Deployed Architect on Notion’s Services team, you will help customers turn AI ambition into operational reality. You will partner directly with customers to design, build, and launch AI-native workflows that drive measurable business outcomes. This role sits at the center of Notion’s workflow-led GTM motion.

What You'll Achieve

• Solution Design: Translate business goals and workflow requirements into scalable Notion architectures.
• AI Implementation: Deploy AI-native workflows using Notion AI, custom agents, automations, and Developer Platform capabilities.
• Consultative Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor, simplifying complex technical requirements and navigating governance and integration needs.
• Scalability: Identify repeatable patterns across engagements to create templates, reference architectures, and enablement assets.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with GTM, Product, and Engineering teams to turn field learnings into product improvements.

Skills You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in tech services, solutions architecture, or customer engineering.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous goals into clear, scalable solution architectures.
• Hands-on AI builder mindset with experience prototyping or automating business workflows.
• Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, data models, and enterprise systems.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to drive stakeholder alignment.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences.

Nice to Haves

• Experience designing or deploying AI Agents and automations.
• Familiarity with Notion APIs, MCPs, or Workers.
• Experience developing discovery methodologies or packaged services from the ground up.

Work Environment

This role is based in San Francisco or New York City. We operate on a hybrid model with required office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days).
