Note: This internship requires you to work out of our New York or San Francisco office. Program dates are May 17 – August 6 or June 14 – September 3.

What You'll Achieve

• Write clean, secure, tested, and documented code.
• Design and enhance the Notion product with an AI-first mindset.
• Develop, fix, and debug software across our full stack (web services, databases, applications, and tools) using modern frameworks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (must graduate before Summer 2028).
• Previous internship experience.
• Proficiency or working knowledge of languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.
• Ability to solve complex problems and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Haves

• Expertise in our stack: TypeScript, React, or Python.
• Familiarity with computing pioneers like Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, and Alan Kay.
• Interests outside of technology, such as art, history, or social sciences.
