Workplace Technology Operation (Contractor) - Notion

About the Role

Notion is seeking a Workplace Technology Operation contractor for our Dublin office. As part of our growing Workplace Technology Operations team, you'll be a resourceful, security-focused, and people-centered professional who will help us continue scaling and establish best-in-class support for our end users. This is a 12–18 month fixed-term role.

Note: In-person collaboration is essential to Notion's culture. We require all team members to work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days).

What You'll Achieve

• End User & AV Support: Provide reliable onsite and remote technical support for Dublin/EMEA employees across hardware, software, connectivity, SaaS tools, and conference room AV.
• Employee & Device Lifecycle: Manage account provisioning, device preparation, inventory hygiene, procurement, repairs, and deprovisioning.
• Operational Excellence: Improve SOPs, resource library content, and self-service resources to ensure IT operations scale effectively.
• Workflow Improvement & Automation: Identify and improve recurring support workflows using AI or lightweight automation to reduce manual work.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Workplace, People, Security, and global IT teams on access and endpoint workflows.

Skills You'll Need

• Professional fluency in English with strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally for EMEA office support or events.
• Hands-on experience with macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, and core networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Experience with SaaS and identity tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Intune.
• Familiarity with ITSM principles and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Notion).
• Strong operational judgment regarding IT compliance and security.
• A service-oriented, self-directed approach to documentation and workflow improvement.

Nice to Haves

• Experience at a fast-growing tech or AI company.
• Experience building internal tooling or automation workflows.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub or Infrastructure as Code.
• Additional European language fluency.
