Parachute Health is transforming post-acute care as the leading digital ordering platform for medical equipment and supplies. We connect major health systems, health plans, and suppliers to help patients get the life-saving products they need at home. Since launching, we've connected 300,000+ clinicians and 3,000+ supplier locations across all 50 states and helped 15M+ patients.
About the Role
As a fast-growing, remote-first startup, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own our catalog product: the data model, systems, pipelines, and internal tools that make Parachute's product catalog accurate, scalable, and usable by category managers, suppliers, and every ordering workflow that depends on it.
You are the PM for Catalog on Cat Crew. You will lead a balanced product team (engineering + design) to improve how product information is modeled, ingested, managed, published, and consumed across Parachute. This is a systems and data product: much of the work is schema and entity-model design, ingestion and sync architecture, matching and deduplication at scale, and the operator tooling that sits on top.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Research
- Own catalog product strategy: define what catalog health means, how to measure it, and drive bets that improve accuracy, coverage, and time-to-value
- Own the product data model with engineering: define how entities, attributes, variants, relationships, and hierarchies are structured, versioned, and evolved
- Partner with Merchandising, operations, and supplier-facing teams on discovery around PIM / CMS workflows, data-model debt, duplicate SKUs, and brittle mappings
- Define release slices that optimize for time to value across merchant tooling, catalog integrity, ingestion/publish/sync, and package models
- Measure and analyze success and failure metrics, aligning them directly to business goals and operational throughput
Product Development Delivery
- Align a balanced product team on a clear strategy and prioritize work to maximize outcomes and business growth
- Build artifacts that unify the organization, including roadmaps, product briefs, data-model explanations, and launch plans
- Stay hands-on through discovery, scoping, build, launch, and iteration by writing briefs, reviewing data, and owning delivery end-to-end
- Make and defend technical product trade-offs alongside engineering (schema changes, migrations, API contracts, batch vs. real-time sync, matching precision vs. recall)
- Coordinate with Merchandising, platform partners, and adjacent product teams to ensure catalog integrity across downstream payor, compliance, and qualification workflows
- Establish robust feedback loops with category managers, suppliers, and internal consumers of catalog data
Who You Are
- Mission-driven: You care about healthcare and want to work on complex problems that improve patient outcomes
- PIM & systems builder: You have built or deeply owned a PIM or product-information system, including attributes, variants, relationships, mappings, ingestion, and syndication
- Data modeling at scale: Fluent in entity and schema design, data quality and lineage, matching/deduplication/entity resolution, and handling multi-source datasets
- Platform orientation: Comfortable with system architecture, APIs, event and batch pipelines, and performance trade-offs
- E-commerce / marketplace background: Understand how product data quality impacts search, cart, fulfillment, and partner onboarding
- Technical execution: Experienced in writing SQL queries, working with ETL/ELT data pipelines, data ingestion, and data warehouses
- Experience: 7+ years of product management (or equivalent technical leadership) with significant time spent on PIM, catalog, or data-intensive systems
- Location & travel: Based in the United States; willing to travel to customer sites or conferences (~1 trip per quarter)
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, scientific, or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
- Healthcare or DME domain knowledge (HCPCS codes, supplier catalogs, medical taxonomies)
- Experience replatforming or executing data migrations for a PIM or catalog system
- Experience working in high-growth startup environments
- Familiarity with AI-assisted catalog mapping, deduplication, or content enrichment
