About PerfectServe

PerfectServe is a leading provider of clinical communication and physician scheduling solutions in the health IT space. Founded in 1997, the company has grown significantly, especially after major acquisitions in 2019. PerfectServe now boasts 400+ employees, 30,000+ customers (including medical practices, hospitals, and health systems), and over $100 million in annual revenue.

Our mission is to accelerate speed to care by optimizing provider schedules and routing critical communications—messages, pages, calls, and alerts—to the right place at the right time in any care setting. By facilitating real-time information sharing, building better schedules, and automating important clinical workflows, we empower our customers to advance patient care and improve clinician well-being.

PerfectServe's approach has been consistently validated by leading analyst firms:

  • In 2026, PerfectServe was named highest in execution and furthest in vision in the Gartner Magic Quadrant™ for Clinical Communication and Collaboration, establishing us as the clear segment leader.
  • We also received two Best in KLAS awards in 2026 for physician scheduling and ambulatory clinical communications, marking 11 Best in KLAS awards over the past 9 years.

Joining PerfectServe offers a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative team with decades of experience, constantly innovating to delight customers. This includes staying at the cutting edge of product development, from implementing AI in solutions to brainstorming novel workflows with customers. Every team member contributes to moving the business forward. If you're seeking a well-established, tech-forward company with smart people doing meaningful work, PerfectServe is the place for you.

The Opportunity

You will own two critical areas: our existing customers and the spaces where buyers gather. This role involves running customer and expansion marketing in partnership with Customer Success, and executing the field and event motions scoped by segment owners.

You are also responsible for building our proof points. References, case studies, and advocates are essential for winning deals and for our valuation by potential acquirers. This program will be yours to build from the ground up.

What You’ll Own

  • Sales Enablement:
    • Build custom sales decks and assets for client engagements, with a focus on enterprise deals.
    • Run broader enablement: operationalize the master pitch and battlecards owned by PMM, onboard reps to materials, and keep deal assets current.
    • Act as the bridge between marketing’s narrative and what reps present in the room.
  • Field and Event Execution:
    • Execute events recommended by segment owners: booth setup, on-site meetings, and follow-through.
    • Own on-site ROI and the pre- and post-event motion with sales and Customer Success.
  • References, Case Studies, and Advocacy:
    • Own the reference and advocacy program; recruit advocates and transform outcomes into compelling proof.
    • Partner with Content for production and PMM for outcome data.
  • Field Enablement:
    • Own field and event enablement materials in partnership with PMM’s core positioning.

What You Don’t Own

  • New-logo demand creation (owned by segment owners).
  • Which events we attend (the thesis is decided by segment owners; you execute).
  • Core positioning and battlecards (owned by PMM).

Key Performance Indicators

  • Expansion pipeline influenced (customer and expansion pipeline, in collaboration with Customer Success).
  • Net revenue retention contribution (marketing’s influence on retention and expansion).
  • Event execution ROI (pipeline and qualified meetings per event, within budget).
  • Proof produced (references and case studies created – exit-critical).
  • Field contribution to acute pipeline (field-influenced pipeline supporting the ABM motion).

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years in customer marketing, field marketing, or events in B2B SaaS; healthcare IT preferred.
  • A program builder capable of managing events and customer motions simultaneously.
  • Comfortable partnering closely with Customer Success and Sales.
  • A proven track record in reference and advocacy programs.
  • An AI-first approach to scaling field and customer content.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building a customer advocacy or reference program from scratch.
  • Experience supporting diligence with customer proof points.
