Staff Product Manager - Phaidra

About Phaidra

Phaidra is building the future of industrial automation. We create AI-powered control systems for the industrial sector, enabling facilities to automatically learn and improve over time. Using reinforcement learning algorithms, we convert raw sensor data into high-value actions and decisions without requiring domain experts to write code.

Our team has a track record of applying AI to some of the toughest problems, from DeepMind's AlphaGo to reducing energy required for Google's Data Centers. We operate 100% remotely with no physical office, spanning the USA, Canada, UK, and beyond.

Who You Are

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead one of the most important product bets at Phaidra: making Prism the connective data surface for the entire data center operation. You are bold and creative, with deep empathy for operators on the floor and equal fluency with executives who buy platforms.

Note: We are seeking teammates based in Eastern or Central time zones (US or Canada)...

Responsibilities

  • Work with the CPO to translate the platform vision into a sequenced, fundable roadmap.
  • Regularly visit and join calls with customers to see Prism in production and hear unfiltered feedback.
  • Translate floor-level customer pain into clear, high-quality product requirements.
  • Lead the delivery of key integrations that connect new systems into Prism.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to sequence and ship platform capabilities for broader, safer autonomy.
  • Support Prism's expansion beyond the operations floor to new personas and buyers (facilities/infrastructure leadership).
  • Establish frameworks for prioritization, discovery, and risk mitigation, and mentor other PMs.
  • Own success metrics including adoption across new systems/personas, progress along the insight-to-autonomy axis, and expansion revenue.

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of technical product management experience.
  • Comfortable spending significant time directly with customers or end users.
  • Track record of taking a product from point solution toward platform.
  • Exceptional ability to translate customer needs into strategic product direction.
  • Strong technical acumen including system architecture, APIs, and data platforms.
  • Experience mentoring and developing other product managers.
  • Excellent communication skills in an all-remote setting.
  • Alignment with Phaidra's values: Agency, Velocity, Craft, & Truth.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Domain experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, industrial, or energy systems.
  • Familiarity with operational systems such as BMS/EPMS, CMMS, DCIM, or ITSM.
  • Experience productizing agentic AI or autonomous/closed-loop control.
  • Experience designing layered or usage-based B2B pricing.

Benefits & Perks

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Unlimited paid time off (minimum 20 days per year)
