The Role
We’re looking for a results-oriented Customer Success Manager to join our advertising business unit, helping companies in a variety of sectors effectively market to low-income consumers via the Propel app. You’ll report directly to the Director of Customer Success.
You’ll manage a portfolio of accounts, developing strong customer relationships and driving growth toward a revenue target. Our partners advertise mission-aligned products and services that help our users make it through the month.
Responsibilities
- Owning a portfolio of accounts generating $8-$20 million in annual revenue, with strong growth potential.
- Implementing and optimizing marketing campaigns for your accounts, delivering great results that meet your customers’ goals.
- Growing your portfolio by identifying opportunities to sell new placements and campaigns and increase budgets or pricing.
- Helping us build more scalable and efficient Customer Success tools by partnering with your product and tech counterparts.
- Serving as a strategic partner and subject matter expert for customers, proactively offering recommendations and guidance.
- Owning the commercial strategy for your vertical, building out a GTM strategy and ensuring we have the materials and story needed to sell.
- Proactively sharing learnings with teammates to improve our collective understanding of industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise customer success or account management experience.
- Experience with digital marketing at either a publisher, agency, or advertiser.
- Exceptional written and oral presentation and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and project management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and navigate ambiguity.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort navigating technical systems.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to quickly build trust.
- Passion for building a business with a strong social mission.
- Willingness to travel to conduct strategic planning sessions with key accounts at least once per quarter.
