RevenueCat gives app businesses the infrastructure and tools to build, run, and improve their monetization. Since graduating from YC's S18 batch, we've grown into the default monetization platform for mobile.

We're in 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $16B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo developer to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.

The Role

We’re looking for a Product-oriented Fullstack Engineer to design, build, ship, and own end-to-end product features used by thousands of developers and hundreds of millions of end-users.

We’re specifically looking for someone with a strong backend foundation who is also genuinely proficient in React.

This is a hands-on IC role. We are looking for someone product-focused, but deeply technical. You’ll work across frontend, backend, and data boundaries, making thoughtful tradeoffs to deliver reliable, high-quality systems. You’ll take ownership from problem definition through production rollout and long-term maintenance, the scoping and prioritization work as much as the code.

About You

• Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong backend foundation and a track record of building and operating high-scale production systems.
• Data Skills: You can write advanced SQL statements beyond basic SELECT and UPDATE statements.
• Frontend Skills: Proficient in React with genuine frontend experience. Comfortable owning UI work, not just backend APIs.
• Web Fundamentals: Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals, plus an understanding of HTTP and browser–server interactions.
• Quality Mindset: You hold a high bar for quality, know which details matter, and are discerning enough to cut scope when needed while still delivering value.
• Customer Obsession: You imagine yourself as the developer, product manager, or marketer using the feature or experiencing the issue.
• Builder Mentality: Scoping, prioritizing, and driving rollout in partnership with our Product team.
• Adaptability: Quickly familiarize yourself with code you didn't write and improve it.
• AI Tools: Comfortable coding alongside AI tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
• Execution: Scrappy and biased toward shipping. You'd rather ship a good version today and iterate than wait for perfection.
• Communication: Clear writer in both real-time and asynchronous settings.
• Impact: Shipped meaningful user-facing features to production, monitored usage, and improved them over time.
• Engineering Culture: Write high-quality, well-tested code, debug methodically, and raise the engineering bar through feedback and mentorship.
• Ownership: Act like a founder by noticing problems, proposing improvements, and following through fast.
