Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager to own the multi-year vision, roadmap, and performance for a key product area at Storyblok. You will own the what and the why around your products, from early discovery and definition through launch and continuous improvement.

You will set standards across the product team, working closely with Engineering and Design to turn strategy into a clear delivery plan, make practical calls on scope and tradeoffs, and support teams through shipping. You will also partner closely with our Developer Experience team to make working with our APIs, SDKs, and docs a delightful experience for developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Roadmap: Set the multi-year vision and own the roadmap for a key product area. Prioritize what gets built and communicate the rationale behind decisions. Bring net-new product bets to executive leadership.
  • Product Discovery: Set the research agenda across your area, commission discovery work, and identify market shifts early.
  • Developer Experience: Treat docs, error messages, and the composable/MACH integration ecosystem as essential parts of the product.
  • Business Cases: Build company-level business cases (e.g., new pricing tiers or market entries) connecting product investment to measurable business outcomes.
  • Release Strategy: Establish release governance standards across the company: sequencing, readiness criteria, and launch coordination.
  • Stakeholder Management: Keep executives, key customers, and industry analysts aligned as priorities evolve.
  • Cross-Team Leadership: Lead across organizational boundaries, arbitrate cross-org priorities, and foster product culture.
  • Metrics & Measurement: Define analytics standards for your area and report on performance against key goals.
  • Design & Engineering Collaboration: Partner closely from discovery through launch, shaping platform-level design philosophy and API conventions.
  • Writing & Documentation: Set specification and writing standards, creating internal docs that drive executive-level decisions.
  • External Thought Leadership: Represent the product narrative externally through keynotes, analyst briefings, and launch storytelling.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and develop product management talent across the organization.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, product, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years focused on technical, developer-facing, or platform products
  • Hands-on experience with developer tools, APIs, or platform ecosystems
  • Demonstrated track record of owning an entire product area from vision to shipped outcomes
  • Technical fluency: ability to read API docs, lead discovery interviews with senior engineers, and draft detailed technical PRDs
  • Proven ability to build business cases and execute company-level strategic bets (e.g., new markets or pricing tiers)
  • Experience in headless CMS, content infrastructure, or DXP is a strong plus
  • Strong commercial acumen connecting product decisions to revenue, retention, and cost
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to executives and industry analysts
