Founding Technical Program Manager - Supabase

About the Role

We’re hiring the first Technical Program Manager to join a newly formed Technical Program Management function, reporting to the Head of TPM. This is a founding role where you will help design and build how strategic, cross-functional work is delivered across a global organization. TPMs at Supabase own the connective tissue between teams, manage dependencies for our largest programs, and define the standard for using tools like Linear.

What You'll Be Responsible for

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) to structure and drive complex initiatives, from scope definition to launch.
• Systems Design: Build tracking, reporting, and escalation mechanisms to surface risks and progress.
• Process Improvement: Ensure launch readiness is predictable, consistent, and coordinated across all participants.
• Communication: Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and maintain transparency through clear, async written communication.
• Risk Management: Identify bottlenecks, develop resolution options, and communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Dependency Mapping: Coordinate delivery across groups that do not share direct reporting lines.
• Technical Fluency: Develop domain expertise to act as a credible member of the delivery triad and hold your own in architectural discussions.

You Might Be a Good Fit If You

• Have 7+ years of experience in technical program management for software, SaaS, or systems development.
• Have a track record of leading large-scale, cross-team software delivery programs.
• Are comfortable operating in a fully remote, async-first environment.
• Can communicate clearly and build credibility with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Have strong attention to detail and a bias toward execution grounded in data.
• Have experience with Linear, Jira, or equivalent tooling at scale.
