Support Engineer (AMER - Weekends)

About the Role

Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We are seeking Support Engineers to provide world-class developer support for users experiencing issues or seeking guidance. The support team is globally distributed, focused on minimizing time-to-fix, and works closely with product engineering and growth teams.

You Will

• Provide initial and timely responses to support cases, ranging from billing and pre-sales to optimization and implementation.
• Triage cases by directing users to documentation, code examples, or escalating to technical/business teams.
• Monitor feedback channels, including GitHub Issues and Discussions.
• Identify opportunities for internal tooling to improve support efficiency.
• Reproduce issues and create test cases to improve test coverage.

You Are

• Experienced in customer support, with 3+ years providing developer support to technical customers.
• Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL) and comfortable with complex queries; database administration experience is a plus.
• A strong communicator with fluency in English.
• Skilled in Linux/Unix operating systems and the command line.
• Experienced with GitHub Issues and Discussions.
• Familiar with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte) and Node.js (Bonus).
• A Computer Science degree holder (Bonus).

Timezones & Logistics

• This is a full-time position consisting of 4 10-hour shifts.
• Permanently covers weekends during NASA hours: 16:00-02:00 UTC.
• Primarily seeking candidates in North or South American timezones.
• Schedule covers Friday through Monday.
