About the Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Sword Health, you'll own and evolve the infrastructure that powers our AI Care platform. Working across a multi-cloud environment, you'll build and maintain systems behind our frontends, backends, microservices, and data pipelines—collaborating closely with engineering and AI teams to ensure systems are reliable, scalable, fast, and production-ready.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, resilient infrastructure to support high-demand applications and services.
• Automate deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and routine maintenance tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with development, data, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and code changes.
• Drive security best practices by implementing and managing access control, network security, and compliance-related policies.
• Lead incident response and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues to maintain service continuity.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing DevOps best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing innovative solutions to processes and toolchains.

What You Need to Have

• Experience with Linux environments and DevOps/GitOps methodologies.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications (Docker).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Google Cloud Monitoring/StackDriver, Grafana, Prometheus/AlertManager, NewRelic).
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive "Get Things Done" attitude.
• Fluent in English (written and oral).
• Experience using AI to debug and develop infrastructure tooling, or building AI agents to automate processes, monitoring, and provisioning.

Nice to Have

• Experience/knowledge with Kafka, Prometheus/AlertManager, Grafana, Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana, Vault, Redis, MySQL, and DNS.
• Development experience with PHP, JavaScript, or GoLang.
• Experience provisioning servers and services using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience/knowledge with Istio.
• Strong cloud networking know-how including VPC management, routing, NAT, and troubleshooting via TCPdump analysis.

Compensation

• Total Compensation Range: $140,000 - $220,000 USD (Includes base salary, variable, bonus, and estimated equity value)
