About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and diligent Software Engineer to join our growing team. You will work as part of the engineering team to support internal business units, build relationships with stakeholders, and empower internal customer-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Tooling: Improve observability (metrics, alerting, logging), identify and build improvements for Continuous Deployment, and utilize infrastructure as code.
• Collaboration: Work with product engineering to extract data for business decisions and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Core Engineering: Design, build, test, and document core software components.
• Ownership: Maintain services by building for observability, participating in incident response, and fielding support escalations.
• Optimization: Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience with CI/CD, secrets management, infrastructure as code, and observability.
• Experience with distributed systems and operating managed services in a cloud environment (preferably AWS).
• Familiarity with networks (IP addressing, routing, etc.).
• Bonus: Experience with Kubernetes in production and the Go programming language.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work asynchronously.
