About the Role

We are looking for an engineer to join our Data team and own the reliability of the data our Finance stakeholders depend on. This is a full-stack data role where you will build and maintain the pipelines, transformations, and data models that turn complex billing and usage data into the revenue, forecasting, and reporting infrastructure Finance runs on.

What You Will Do

  • Own Data Pipelines: Manage pipelines bringing billing, usage, and contract data into the warehouse, including metered usage across multiple products.
  • Data Quality: Diagnose and resolve data quality and freshness issues at the source.
  • Modeling: Design and maintain dbt models for revenue recognition, margin, and forecasting.
  • Standards: Set testing and documentation standards to ensure accuracy for financial reconciliation.
  • Self-Service: Build semantic models that power dashboards and reports for Finance leadership.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with FP&A, Accounting, and Revenue teams to translate business needs into technical specs.
  • Engineering Excellence: Write production-grade code, conduct code reviews, and mentor other engineers.

About You

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering with a track record of end-to-end ownership.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills with experience writing testable, production-grade code.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt, dimensional modeling, and modern ELT/ETL workflows (e.g., Airflow, Dagster).
  • Direct experience with Finance data (usage-based billing, revenue recognition, or forecasting).
  • Proven ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders and translate ambiguous requirements into durable data models.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical trade-offs to diverse audiences.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Mentorship and professional development support.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • Gear and WFH budget to outfit your workspace.
