- Translate financial and operational performance into clear insights, variance analysis, risks, opportunities, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Partner with commercial, operational, functional, local finance, and group finance teams to support strategic initiatives and improve business performance.
- Build and maintain robust financial models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting packages to support decision-making and investment cases.
- Ensure alignment between local German reporting requirements and group-level expectations within a U.S. publicly listed company environment.
- Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, planning tools, data quality, reporting automation, and performance management routines.
What It Takes to Make an Impact
- Approximately 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, controlling, corporate finance, or a related finance function, ideally in an international or matrixed organization.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, management reporting, variance analysis, and business performance management.
- Good understanding of relationship between balance sheet, profit and loss account, and the cash flow statement.
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP, planning, and reporting tools such as Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Fusion, Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, Hyperion, OneStream, or similar.
- Strong commercial mindset, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decision-making.
- Fluent English is required.
Bonus Points:
- Experience preparing board materials, earnings support schedules, management review packs, or group reporting deliverables.
- Exposure to finance transformation, planning system implementation, BI dashboards, or reporting automation projects.
