Developer, Enterprise Tenants and Policies - 1Password

We’re seeking an Intermediate Developer with a full-stack or backend-focused background to join our Enterprise Tenants and Policies team.

This team focuses on the B2B side of our Enterprise Password Manager, building features that help large organizations manage 1Password at scale. You will work on multi-tenancy, linked accounts, policies that give businesses control over operations, and intuitive admin experiences.

What you can expect

• Code, test, debug, deliver, and maintain production software systems for new and existing enterprise features.
• Build features supporting multi-tenancy, linked accounts, policy management, and the admin console experience.
• Contribute to the team's transition from a monolithic application toward a microservice architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the development cycle to ensure smooth releases.
• Coordinate with partner teams working in authentication, authorization, insights, and managed service providers.
• Contribute to design and architecture documents to ensure solutions are thoughtfully planned.
• Mentor junior and new team members, sharing knowledge and participating in pair programming sessions.
• Write comprehensive tests across development stages and review code to maintain high standards.
• Be available for on-call rotational work to ensure uninterrupted support and resolve emergencies.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience with a modern backend language (e.g., Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python).
• A drive for and proven experience in software development best practices and coding standards.
• Ability to solve moderately complex problems and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams and explaining technical concepts to non-technical partners.
• Passion for testing methodologies and debugging techniques ensuring high-quality code.
• Comfortable working across multiple services and collaborating with other teams.

Bonus Points

• Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure configuration.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and distributed systems or microservices.
• Experience building frontends with TypeScript and React.
• Exposure to security, enterprise, or admin-focused products.
