Financial Analyst - Canonical

The Role

As a Financial Analyst, you will be a core member of the FP&A team. You will play a key part in monthly business reviews, quarterly forecasting, annual planning, and financial modeling, while driving cross-functional business alignment. We are looking for an analytical independent thinker who leverages data-driven business judgment to advise on critical financial, commercial, and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Insights: Analyze unit economics, drivers of variance, and KPIs to generate operational insights.
• Planning & Reporting: Support quarterly and annual financial planning, forecasting, and monthly budget reviews.
• Strategic Analysis: Provide analysis of commercial initiatives with strategic or financial impact.
• Process Improvement: Create objective analyses and processes to help a fast-growing tech company scale efficiently.
• Change Management: Support multi-functional projects to enhance systems, processes, and data accuracy.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with and communicate business progress to key stakeholders against financial and strategic targets.

Valued Skills & Experience

• Proven track record in an analytically focused finance or business role.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and financial modeling abilities.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and core accounting principles.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Curiosity, flexibility, and a drive to go above-and-beyond expectations.
• Ability to travel twice a year for company events (up to two weeks long).
• Bonus: Experience with BI reporting, CRM, ERP, budgeting software, or data visualization tools.
