Regional SDR Director - Canonical

About the Role

Canonical is seeking Regional SDR Directors to lead our inbound and outbound sales development teams across AMER, EMEA, and APAC. This role is pivotal in managing a multi-million dollar pipeline while fostering a culture of high integrity, empathy, and rigorous work ethic. You will act as a leader within our "sales academy," mentoring SDRs and BDRs—many of whom are STEM graduates—as they launch their careers in the software industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Direct regional SDR/BDR managers and teams to maintain and grow a multi-million dollar pipeline.
• Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop SDR Team Managers; foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Operational Excellence: Leverage modern sales tech stacks and CRM analytics to ensure predictable pipeline forecasting.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with Regional Sales VPs, Marketing, and Field Engineering.
• Innovation: Experiment with new outbound approaches to adapt to evolving market dynamics.

Requirements

• Excellent academic results (Bachelor’s or equivalent in Business or STEM).
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional outbound sales development results.
• Experience leading leaders and managing multi-regional strategic visions.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement.
• Deep knowledge of business development, sales, and technology.
• Experience driving accountability and culture across asynchronous, remote-first global teams.
