Sales Enablement Manager - Canonical

About the Role

Canonical is seeking a Sales Enablement leader to architect the growth journey for our global sales organization. You will act as a trusted partner to identify, scope, and implement tooling and workflow improvements that drive efficiency and reduce friction in the sales process. You will sit at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and Sales, transforming high-level strategy into actionable field excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Execution: Lead the design and execution of global sales enablement strategies to drive revenue growth and continuous improvement in sales productivity.
  • Coaching & Mentorship: Provide coaching that incorporates sales strategy, process, and proven methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC).
  • Content & Assets: Drive the creation of advanced sales plays, competitive intelligence, discovery guides, pitch decks, and battlecards.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, and Marketing to translate technical roadmaps into value-based sales narratives.
  • Onboarding & Training: Own the end-to-end sales onboarding experience and facilitate live/virtual training sessions on product features and sales techniques.
  • Tech Stack Management: Manage the sales enablement tech stack (CRM, LMS, etc.) to ensure tools optimize the sales process.
  • Operations: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of initiatives using data-driven insights and coordinate logistics for global training events and twice-yearly "sprint" weeks.

What We Are Looking For

  • Exceptional academic track record.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching sales leaders and diagnosing business challenges.
  • Proficiency in modern sales methodologies like MEDDPICC.
  • Experience building enablement programs from the ground up in high-growth markets.
  • Strong ability to influence, establish direction, and achieve consensus.
  • Passion for technology and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in sales enablement, technical training, or sales operations.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, modern LMS platforms, and Jira.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
