
About the Role
Canonical is seeking a Senior Partner Sales Manager to drive growth within our Global System Integrator (GSI) ecosystem. You will work closely with GSI partners to facilitate Ubuntu-based solutions, build long-term digital transformation platforms, and increase Canonical's market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners at all levels.
- Evangelize Ubuntu technology and open-source selling models.
- Negotiate commercial contracts and business terms.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales engineering, and product management to deliver on targets.
- Lead executive interlocks between partners and the Canonical leadership team.
- Conduct customer workshops, attend sales events, and deliver public presentations.
- Travel internationally up to 40% of the time.
What We Are Looking For
- Extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management.
- Deep technical understanding of OpenStack, virtualization, containers, and cloud technologies.
- Autonomous, disciplined, and hands-on "get-it-done" mentality.
- Ability to identify gaps, capture requirements, and create new opportunities.
- Passion for Ubuntu products and the open-source mission.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
