Country Director, India - Cloudflare

About the Role

Cloudflare is seeking a Country Director to lead our India market strategy, drive enterprise expansion, and scale our local organization. This role requires a broad business generalist with experience spanning pre- and post-sales, HR, finance, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Drive sales growth through organizational planning, customer service, and execution of regional go-to-market programs (sales, customer success, solutions engineering, business development, support, and field marketing).
• Market Expansion: Spearhead regional growth by securing top-tier enterprise accounts, expanding the current customer footprint, and uncovering new markets.
• Operational Rigor: Lead the end-to-end integration of the partner ecosystem and serve as the single point of contact for SAARC operational concerns.
• Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and motivate the local organization. Work with global leadership to manage hiring needs, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Governance: Ensure corporate policy and regulatory initiatives are consistently applied across the SAARC region.
• Representation: Act as the local point person for Product and Engineering, and represent Cloudflare at external conferences, media, and PR events.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• High Growth at Scale: 2nd line leadership experience with a track record of scaling organizations through rapid revenue growth. Previous Country Manager or Big 5 consulting experience is highly preferred.
• GTM Complexity: Well-versed in ecosystem development, from pre-sales to post-sales coordination of complex, multi-product sales motions.
• Operational Excellence: Data-driven approach to sales operations, enablement, and hiring practices.
• Technical Acumen: Experience within a cloud-native, highly technical, consumption-based business model.
• Behavioral Traits: Curious, empathetic, and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-growth, continuous-change environment.
