Digital Natives Account Executive - Cloudflare

About the Role

Cloudflare is seeking a commercially sharp and technically curious Digital Natives Account Executive to join our Swiss Sales Team, focused on the German-speaking market. In this high-energy, hunter role, your primary mission is new logo acquisition—finding, engaging, and closing net-new digital-native companies across the region.

Your target universe includes fintechs, SaaS platforms, AI-native startups, and developer-led scale-ups. You will engage as a credible peer with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and technical founders.

Responsibilities

• New Logo Acquisition: Identify, pursue, and close net-new digital-native accounts. Build pipeline through outbound prospecting, community engagement, and partner channels.
• Developer & Technical Engagement: Build trusted relationships with technical buyers. Fluently discuss infrastructure, APIs, developer experience, and cloud architecture.
• AI-Powered Sales Execution: Leverage AI tools daily for prospecting, research, meeting preparation, and pipeline management. Position Cloudflare’s AI infrastructure (Workers AI, Vectorize, AI Gateway) to prospects.
• Full-Cycle Sales: Manage the entire sales process, from initial qualification to closing, with a focus on outcome-linked value propositions.
• Market Insight: Share field intelligence from the digital-native ecosystem to help the organization stay competitive.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of B2B technology sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota.
• Proven hunter mentality; ability to build your own pipeline without relying on inbound leads.
• Strong understanding of product-led growth, bottom-up adoption, and engineering-led procurement cycles.
• Demonstrated fluency in using AI tools to improve sales performance and efficiency.
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure concepts (inference APIs, vector databases, LLM cost management).
• Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
• Language Skills: Professional fluency in German and English.
• Ability to travel within the DACH region as required.
