The Role

The Partner Engineer (PE) is a strategic technical sales leader responsible for the end-to-end technical lifecycle of assigned partners. You will act as a trusted advisor, driving technical validation, architecting delivery readiness, and ensuring partner success with a focus on Cloudflare One (SASE/SSE) and AI Infrastructure (Workers AI / AI Gateway).

Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Engineering & Champion Building

• Technical Alignment: Own the technical relationship with partners to build joint Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
• Technical Account Planning: Drive the end-to-end Technical Account Plan (TAP) to map partner business goals to technical execution.
• Champion Cultivation: Identify and enable technical advocates within partner organizations to scale Cloudflare expertise.
• Deal Support: Enable partners in technical validation, proof-of-concept (PoC), and pipeline acceleration.

Accelerate Services Delivery

• Partner Journey Ownership: Ensure partners have the capabilities to deploy and support Cloudflare platform and AI workloads.
• Joint Services: Co-develop joint services catalogs, including managed SASE practices and AI security assessments.
• Performance Metrics: Track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of partner service deliveries and maximize profitability.

Automation & Innovation

• AI Integration: Leverage autonomous AI tools (Agent PAT and Agent Echo) to automate repeatable tasks.
• Feedback Loop: Engage in the Partner Technical Advisory Council (PTAC) to drive product innovation and capture feedback.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of technical, partner-facing experience (Systems Engineer, Solutions Architect, or TAM) in cybersecurity, cloud, or networking.
• Strong technical depth in Cloudflare One (SASE/SSE), Zero Trust, DNS, and application security.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI deployment, AI Gateway, LLM orchestration, or vector databases.
• Proven track record of developing technical talent and managing complex enterprise projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex architectures to leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: €96,000 - €130,000 annual base.
• Equity: Eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
