About the Role

The Principal Partner Solution Engineer (PSE) is a high-impact, strategic technical sales leader responsible for the end-to-end technical lifecycle and enablement of assigned partners. You will act as the trusted technical advisor, driving validation during the sales cycle, architecting delivery readiness, and ensuring long-term Partner Success.

Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Engineering & Champion Building

• Technical Alignment: Own the technical relationship with partners to build joint Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
• Technical Account Planning: Own the end-to-end Technical Account Plan (TAP), mapping partner goals to technical execution milestones.
• Champion Cultivation: Identify and enable technical advocates within partner organizations to scale Cloudflare expertise.
• Deal Support: Facilitate technical validation, PoCs, demos, and pipeline acceleration for Cloudflare One (CF1) and AI solutions.

Accelerate Services Delivery

• Partner Journey Ownership: Ensure partners possess the capabilities to deploy and support the Cloudflare platform.
• Joint Services: Co-develop joint services catalogs, focusing on managed CF1 SASE practices and AI security assessments.
• Performance Metrics: Track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of partner service deliveries.

Automation & Innovation

• AI Integration: Champion the use of Cloudflare OS and AI tools (Agent PAT and Agent Echo) to automate technical tasks.
• Feedback Loop: Engage in the Partner Technical Advisory Council (PTAC) to drive product innovation and provide early feedback on beta software.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of technical, partner-facing experience (Systems Engineer, Solutions Architect, or TAM) in cybersecurity, cloud, or networking.
• Strong technical depth in Cloudflare One (CF1), SASE/SSE, Zero Trust, and application security.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI deployment, AI Gateway, LLM orchestration, or vector databases.
• Proven track record of developing technical talent and managing complex enterprise IT projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
