Senior Named Account Executive, Federal Government - Cloudflare

About the Role

Our Federal Government sales team works directly with Canadian departments and agencies to defend critical infrastructure, protect citizens' data, and safeguard essential digital services against evolving cyber threats. As a Senior Named Account Executive, you will drive engagement with technical buyers, Project Authorities, and procurement leads to secure Canada’s public sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans across key defense and security accounts.
• Engage early in the procurement lifecycle to shape technical requirements.
• Articulate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services.
• Leverage PSPC procurement vehicles, Supply Arrangements, Standing Offers (SOs), and Vendor of Record (VOR) lists.
• Manage complex contract negotiations and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts and system integrators.

Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Minimum 6 years of direct B2B experience selling security or networking solutions (cybersecurity, Zero Trust, SASE, IaaS, PaaS).
• Minimum 5 years selling to the Canadian Federal Government in Ottawa, with emphasis on DND and Public Safety.
• Proven expertise navigating federal procurement mechanisms, PSPC contracting, and channel/VAR ecosystems.
• Experience managing long, complex public sector sales cycles.
• Deep understanding of computer networking and internet architecture.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, and comfortable in a fast-paced, remote environment.
