Senior Solutions Engineer, Cloudflare One (SASE/SSE) - Cloudflare

About the Role

As a Senior Solutions Engineer specializing in Cloudflare One, you will partner with account teams and customers to design, demonstrate, and validate integrated solutions across Zero Trust, enterprise WAN, and emerging AI technologies. You will lead the technical path for complex opportunities, translating customer risks, operational requirements, and business priorities into architectures that give stakeholders confidence to adopt Cloudflare.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, leading discovery and designing Cloudflare One architectures.
• Guide opportunities through solution design, demonstrations, technical evaluations, and proofs of value.
• Advise on Zero Trust strategies including identity-aware access, secure web gateway, data protection, and browser isolation.
• Design WAN transformation solutions connecting users, offices, and cloud environments.
• Build expertise in AI-era opportunities, including Shadow AI, data exposure, and agentic AI governance.
• Use AI tools to improve research, technical analysis, and demonstration repeatability.
• Partner with sales teams on account strategy and revenue goals.
• Create reusable architectures and coach peers to improve field effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Consulting).
• Meaningful experience designing or implementing Zero Trust solutions.
• Practical understanding of SASE architectures (identity, endpoint, network, application, and SaaS security).
• Experience with enterprise networking and WAN concepts (routing, VPNs, SD-WAN, hybrid connectivity).
• Active professional use of AI tools and understanding of AI-enabled threats.
• Proven ownership of technical evaluations, including discovery, scope, and technical close.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect technical capabilities to business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare One capabilities (Access, Gateway, CASB, DLP, Tunnel).
• Experience migrating from legacy solutions like MPLS, VPNs, or secure web gateways.
• Familiarity with Email Security technologies (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Experience with AI security, governance, or agentic systems.
• Ability to use scripting or APIs for automation.
