About the Role
As an Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to build and maintain the software that handles massive traffic across our global network. You will contribute to projects that impact hundreds of millions of users, working with technologies including TypeScript, Go, Rust, C/C++, and Python.
Responsibilities
- Ship and deliver projects over a 12-14 week period with autonomy.
- Work cross-functionally with various engineering teams.
- Collaborate with a dedicated mentor to guide your career goals.
- Participate in company socials, networking programs, and Employee Resource Groups.
- Present your final project to the company.
- Engage in professional development workshops and contribute to the Cloudflare blog.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a relevant field.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and a drive to learn new technologies.
- Ability to commit to a full-time (40 hours/week) 12-week internship.
- Available for one of the following terms: Sept 14 – Dec 4 or Sept 28 – Dec 18.
- Location Requirement: Must be in-office 3-5 days a week in Austin, TX.
