Role Summary

As a Software Engineer, you will work across a wide range of technologies to deliver new features, improve performance, and increase the scalability of our Network Services products. You will evolve our Network Firewall and security capabilities across north-south and east-west network architectures, operating on one of the world's largest edge networks.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Systems Engineering: Experience building and shipping large-scale, reliable, highly distributed systems.
• Programming: Systems-level programming experience; Go and/or Rust are highly valued.
• Networking: Expertise in L3 and L4 networking protocols (L2 experience is a plus).
• Security Products: Experience with network firewalls, IDS/IPS, DDoS mitigation, rate limiting, packet capture, or threat intelligence.
• Packet Processing: Experience with low-latency userspace packet processing and Linux kernel primitives (netfilter, nftables, eBPF, tc, network namespaces).
• APIs & Data: Experience designing RESTful APIs and large-scale distributed data pipelines.
• Optimization: Excellent debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills for high-throughput, latency-sensitive systems.
