The Role

As a Solution Architect for the Cloudflare AI & Developer Platform and an integral member of the sales team, you will guide customers in understanding the value proposition of the platform and demonstrate how to architect and build high-performance distributed applications.

You will combine deep technical acumen with consultative commercial skills to advise clients, support strategic sales opportunities, architect innovative solutions, and develop proofs of concept. You will also create a continuous feedback loop between clients, product management, and pre-sales engineering.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales organization to drive revenue, client acquisition, and pipeline growth for AI and Developer Platform solutions.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and collaboratively design best-practice architectures tailored to customer requirements.
• Collaborate across product management, engineering, sales, and marketing to accelerate platform adoption and developer satisfaction.
• Present to technical leaders, Directors, and C-level executives as a subject matter expert on Cloudflare's Developer Platform.
• Deliver actionable customer insights and field feedback to cross-functional teams to shape technical content, documentation, and product roadmaps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience selling or supporting technical pre-sales in the cloud computing ecosystem.
• Deep technical expertise across cloud infrastructure and AI/ML, with a proven track record of designing and deploying production systems.
• In-depth proficiency with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Hands-on full-stack development experience, ideally utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks, diverse database systems, and serverless architectures.
• Experience leveraging modern AI coding assistants to build and optimize software.
• Comprehensive understanding of modern developer workflows, including branching, versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and systems integration.
• Strong knowledge of competitive solutions across cloud computing, AI, and distributed storage.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience developing and deploying projects on Cloudflare Workers.
• Formal cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
• Demonstrated success delivering structured customer feedback to influence product strategy.
