Consulting Architect - Security

About the Role

Elastic is seeking an exceptional Consulting Architect to join our Global Capability Center. This senior role focuses on the strategic design and hands-on implementation of the Elastic Stack, with a specific emphasis on Search AI and Security.

You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, working with complex enterprise environments to translate business challenges into robust, scalable, and value-driven Elastic solutions. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, senior-level consulting acumen, and the ability to work effectively across time zones.

What You Will Be Doing

• Strategic Delivery: Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and sizing workshops with clients.
• Implementation: Lead end-to-end delivery of Elastic projects, including proof-of-concepts, data modeling, query optimization, and cluster tuning.
• Technical Leadership: Drive requirements gathering, project timelines, and dependencies to ensure successful engagement delivery.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, product, and sales teams to identify feature improvements, scope opportunities, and assess technical risks.
• Mentorship: Act as a mentor to team members while continuously accelerating your own technical skills.

What You Bring

• Certification: Active Elastic Certified Engineer certification is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years as a Consulting Architect or in senior IT functional leadership.
• Consulting History: Proven track record of delivering professional services in complex enterprise environments.
• Domain Expertise: Deep experience in Enterprise Security, SIEM, or SOAR. Hands-on experience with Elastic Security, Splunk, Arcsight, or IBM QRadar.
• Technical Depth: Proficiency in distributed architecture, Linux, networking, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation.
• Programming: Experience with Python, Javascript, or Go in a corporate environment.
• Communication: Exceptional soft skills, including whiteboarding, stakeholder management, and the ability to articulate complex technical solutions.
• Travel: Ability and willingness to travel to client sites periodically (up to 20%).

Bonus Points

• Gen AI certification from a major cloud provider.
• Additional Elastic certifications or specializations in machine learning/data analytics.
• Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Experience working with pre-sales organizations or as a technical instructor.
