
About the Role
Elastic is seeking a Consulting Architect to join our Public Sector team. This role focuses on delivery and leading high-level stakeholder relationships across Government, aligning Elastic’s strategic objectives with customer needs. You will work within a distributed team to solve complex data challenges and drive the success of our mission-critical deployments.
Note: This role requires a current UK Security Clearance.
What You Will Be Doing
- Strategic Engagement: Lead strategic roadmaps and quarterly sessions with senior stakeholders.
- Technical Delivery: Design, develop, and integrate Elastic products, APIs, and platform architectures.
- Customer Advocacy: Pivot between hands-on delivery and high-level strategic consulting.
- Data Optimization: Perform data modeling, query development, cluster tuning, and scaling for large-scale analytics.
- Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Product, and Sales teams to scope opportunities and identify feature enhancements.
- Knowledge Sharing: Develop demos, proof-of-concepts, and provide technical guidance to customers.
What You Bring Along
- Clearance: Must hold or be willing to undergo UK Security Clearance.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in professional services/consulting and 2 years in Software Engineering, DevOps, or System Administration.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and/or Lucene.
- Distributed Systems: Strong background in large-scale architecture and development.
- Communication: Proven ability to act as a technical instructor and public speaker for enterprise audiences.
- Stack Knowledge: Proficiency in Linux, Java, and database technologies.
- Travel: Ability to travel for onsite customer engagements as required.
