Federal Account Executive - Dept of Treasury

About the Role

Elastic is seeking a dynamic Federal Account Executive to lead and scale our footprint within the United States Department of the Treasury (USDT) and its key sub-agencies, including the IRS, OCC, Bureau of the Fiscal Service, and the U.S. Mint. You will drive the adoption of our Search AI, Security, and Observability solutions to help public sector organizations modernize legacy IT and meet critical federal mandates.

What You Will Do

• Drive Strategic Adoption: Expand Elastic’s presence within the Department of the Treasury and associated financial regulatory bureaus.
• Execute Competitive Displacements: Replace legacy SIEM and monitoring providers to lower TCO and meet federal logging mandates like OMB M-21-31.
• Act as a Trusted Advisor: Collaborate with agency leaders, CISOs, and enterprise architects to solve complex mission challenges.
• Manage Sales Cycles: Navigate federal procurement pathways (GSA, NASA SEWP, IDIQs) and manage matrixed sales pursuits from lead to close.
• Build Ecosystem Coalitions: Develop territory plans utilizing systems integrators, VARs, and cloud partners (AWS, Azure, GCP).

What You Bring

• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of quota overachievement and multi-million-dollar deal execution in FedCiv sales.
• Treasury Expertise: Direct experience selling into the Department of the Treasury or IRS with established relationships.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, SIEM, APM, and Cloud architectures.
• Sales Discipline: Consistent history of pipeline management and forecasting using Salesforce (SFDC).
• Value-Based Selling: Ability to navigate both technical teams and executive decision-makers.
