Principal AI Ecosystem Architect - OpenAI/Anthropic

About the Role

Elastic is seeking a Principal AI Ecosystem Architect to own the technical strategy and relationships with OpenAI and Anthropic. In this hands-on individual contributor role, you will drive co-build strategies, influence product roadmaps, and shape go-to-market content to help customers leverage frontier intelligence with their unstructured data.

What You Will Be Doing

Building

• Drive co-build strategy with the Product team to integrate Elastic’s retrieval, security, and observability capabilities into agentic workflows.
• Serve as the technical voice within OpenAI and Anthropic ecosystems.
• Build reference architectures and prototypes demonstrating Elasticsearch as the retrieval layer for agentic AI.
• Influence product roadmaps based on technical signals and partner/customer feedback.

Leading

• Own end-to-end technical and strategic relationships with partner-facing counterparts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding integration possibilities.
• Facilitate executive-level cadences to align on priorities and investments.

Evangelizing

• Co-author joint solution briefs, technical guides, and co-branded content.
• Represent Elastic at developer conferences, meetups, and technical summits.
• Enable field teams to effectively communicate the value of these integrations.

What You Bring

• 7+ years in technical presales, partner engineering, solutions architecture, or product management.
• Proven experience managing technical relationships with strategic AI or platform partners.
• Hands-on experience building prototypes and integration demos.
• Strong ability to influence product roadmaps and partner priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Bonus Points

• Direct experience working with OpenAI and/or Anthropic.
• Technical depth in context engineering for AI agents, AI-powered security, or observability.
