About the Role
Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to define the vision, strategy, and execution for Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) within Elastic Security. As identity becomes a primary attack vector, you will lead the development of capabilities to detect, investigate, and respond to identity-based threats across on-premises, cloud, and AI-agent environments.
What You Will Be Doing
- Strategy & Roadmap: Define the vision for ITDR, evolving Entity Analytics and Entity Store into a comprehensive identity-defense outcome.
- Non-Human Identity Management: Manage the roadmap for securing service accounts, workloads, secrets, and AI agents, establishing behavior standards and lifecycle management.
- Threat Research Collaboration: Partner with detection engineers to address credential access, privilege escalation, and lateral movement tactics.
- Response & Containment: Drive the 'R' in ITDR by integrating identity-system actions and automated response workflows.
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with enterprise security teams, sales, and architects to translate real-world requirements into product features.
- Evangelism: Act as a product expert, creating content and engaging with the global security community through blogs and talks.
What You Bring
- Experience: 10+ years in product management for security products (SIEM, XDR, EDR, or Identity Security).
- Technical Depth: Strong understanding of identity fabrics (Active Directory, OAuth, SSO, Privileged Access) and ITDR disciplines.
- AI/ML Fluency: Deep comprehension of behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, LLMs, and agentic systems.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead in a matrixed, remote-first environment with high autonomy.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for both technical and executive audiences.
