The Role

As a Public Sector Account Executive focused on the DWP, you will thrive on curiosity, energy, and the challenge of solving complex government problems. You will build strategic relationships across departments, helping organizations unlock the value of their data while strengthening security and delivering better digital services to citizens.

What You Will Be Doing

• Pipeline Generation: Proactively develop pipeline through a disciplined multi-channel, multi-touch prospecting approach.
• Strategic Hunting: Identify new opportunities across departments and agencies, building relationships with senior leaders and technical practitioners.
• Discovery: Lead structured discovery conversations to understand mission needs, data challenges, and operational priorities.
• Solution Positioning: Position Elastic’s capabilities across Search AI, Observability, and Security to improve digital services and security posture.
• Collaboration: Work closely with solutions architects, partners, and customer success teams to address complex public sector challenges.
• Account Expansion: Execute land-and-expand motions to identify new use cases and grow Elastic’s footprint.
• Operations: Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within Salesforce.

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of experience selling into the UK Public Sector, with specific exposure to central government departments (DWP focus preferred).
• A hunter mentality with strong energy, resilience, and the drive to build pipeline.
• Intellectual curiosity and creativity in tackling complex government challenges.
• Ability to engage effectively with both senior stakeholders and technical practitioners.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across distributed teams.
