Senior Product Manager, Control Plane - Platform

About the Role

Elastic is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Control Plane team. You will own the backend and orchestration products for Elastic Cloud, ensuring our platform delivers a delightful, scalable experience for customers.

What You Will Be Doing

• Strategy & Roadmap: Define the vision and roadmap for the Control Plane team, focusing on management, orchestration, and scaling capabilities.
• Collaboration: Partner with Engineering to prioritize features and work with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market strategies, messaging, and competitive enablement.
• Insights: Analyze market trends, competitive data, and customer feedback to drive product innovation.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of Product Management experience with deep technical products.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure cloud technologies, distributed data stores, and developer-focused products.
• Proven track record of leveraging AI to accelerate workflows while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive results within a distributed, asynchronous team.
• Excellent communication skills with an ego-free, empathetic, and transparent approach.

Bonus Points

• Direct experience with the Elastic Stack or common use cases (APM, logging, security analytics, etc.).
• Experience working in open-source or commercial open-source environments.
• Comfort working in highly cross-functional, global teams.
