Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions

About the Role

Elastic is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build and grow Elastic XDR. You will own a core area of the XDR roadmap end-to-end, from requirements through to shipped, iterated product. You will work closely with Engineering and the Elastic Security Labs research team to deliver high-quality detection and response capabilities.

What You Will Be Doing

• Roadmap Ownership: Drive detection, correlation, incident building, and response capabilities across endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
• Telemetry & Integrations: Expand and maintain the data sources XDR depends on, including first-party Elastic data and third-party integrations.
• Vulnerability Management: Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management, focusing on prioritization based on exploitability and reachability.
• Requirements Engineering: Write clear, actionable requirements and translate customer input and threat research into product features.
• Customer Engagement: Represent the product in conversations with security stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the roadmap.
• Deployment Flexibility: Ensure capabilities function across all deployment models, including cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments.
• Market Intelligence: Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and GTM strategies.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years in security-related technical product management, competitive analysis, or technical marketing, with at least 3 years in product development.
• Domain Expertise: Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response, or forensics (practitioner background is a plus).
• Technical Credibility: Ability to judge architectural feasibility and scope; strong understanding of detection engineering and analytics.
• Communication: Excellent ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to drive execution in a dynamic, remote-first environment across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Education: BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security.
• AI Proficiency: Experience using AI tooling for research and synthesis in your daily workflow.
