Senior Value Engineer - Elastic

About the Role

Elastic is seeking a Senior Value Engineer based in Germany to support our strategic clients. You will play a pivotal role in helping customers unlock the full business impact of the Elastic Search AI Platform, bridging the gap between technical capabilities and economic outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Value Strategy: Collaborate with account teams to identify and execute value delivery strategies for key accounts.
• Business Impact: Engage stakeholders to quantify business challenges and translate Elastic’s technical capabilities into clear economic benefits.
• Executive Engagement: Lead business value reviews and create boardroom-quality executive documentation.
• Workflow Optimization: Analyze customer processes to identify efficiency gains and optimization opportunities.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a product expert, staying informed on industry trends and providing guidance on best practices.
• Internal Enablement: Conduct workshops to improve the team's discovery skills and understanding of value-based selling.
• Practice Development: Contribute to the evolution of Elastic’s value engineering tools and methodologies.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in value engineering, management consulting, solution architecture, or a related customer-facing role.
• Advanced knowledge of value-based selling methodologies.
• Proven ability to build and present business cases to executive stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent project management skills across multiple workstreams.
• Language: Business-fluent German and English.
• Availability: Ability to travel to meet clients (approx. 2x/month).
