
About the Role
As the Finance Transformation leader, you will design, scale, and automate the financial systems and operational processes required to support our Hyperscaler Marketplace business. This role acts as the bridge between Corporate Finance, Sales Operations, and Product Engineering, leading initiatives to optimize our quote-to-cash (Q2C) and revenue recognition architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Financial System Architecture
- Architecture & Scalability: Partner with IT and Product Engineering to design scalable workflows bridging hyperscaler portals and core finance systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, Zuora).
- Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated finance workflows for complex marketplace transactions, including Private Offers (CPPO/MPPO) and custom metering.
- System Integration: Connect Hyperscaler APIs and marketplace management platforms (e.g., Tackle.io) with core finance systems.
- Data Pipelines: Own the financial data model for marketplace transactions, ensuring reliable ingestion of billing and disbursement data into reporting warehouses.
Revenue Recognition & Financial Operations
- Compliance: Define financial process standards for deferred revenue, gross-vs-net revenue accounting, and ASC 606 compliance.
- Reconciliations: Build scalable transaction-level reconciliation models to match hyperscaler disbursements against internal sales contracts.
- Financial Integrity: Maintain transaction accuracy, track marketplace listing fees, and manage complex third-party reseller data.
Cross-Functional Program Management
- Business Model Alignment: Partner with Finance, Product, and Partner Operations to prepare for new marketplace product offerings.
- Change Management: Direct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and author Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new marketplace capabilities.
What You Bring
- Core Finance: 8–10+ years of progressive experience in accounting operations, financial systems, or tech-sector management consulting.
- Marketplace Exposure: 5+ years of experience managing financial operations, billing infrastructure, or reconciliation for AWS, GCP, or Azure Marketplaces.
- Transformation Track Record: Proven experience leading large-scale software integrations or Q2C transformation cycles in B2B SaaS.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep familiarity with cloud partner portals, marketplace middleware (Tackle.io), ERP systems, and revenue recognition tools (e.g., Zuora RevPro).
- Data Fluency: Proficiency in SQL or BI tools to dissect and transform unstructured billing data.
