Your Role

We are expanding our tech team rapidly to support our ambitious roadmap. We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Ruby on Rails to help build and scale our product. You’ll have the opportunity to define our roadmap, find optimal technical solutions, and run experiments to bring new ideas to the table.

Reporting directly to our Tech Lead, you will work closely with co-founder and CTO Michael Monin, the product team, web developers, SREs, and data scientists.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with the Product Manager to review project specs.
• Prepare integration plans, break-downs, and estimations.
• Hands-on code implementation, PRs, code reviews, and testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a back-end or full-stack software engineer in tech scale-ups or fast-paced agile environments.
• Experience working on large-scale products used by thousands of monthly users.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with fluent English.
• Ownership and commitment — a 'doer' mindset balancing software craftsmanship and speed.
• User-centricity with an obsession for amazing user experiences.
• Comfort with building products based on uncensored models and content (#NSFW).

Bonus Points

• Past experience or interest in data science and generative AI (NLP, ML, MLOps).
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
