Senior Engineering Manager, Co-Intelligent Coaching - Omada Health

About the Role

Omada Health is on a mission to bend the curve of chronic disease. We are hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to own a significant piece of our Co-Intelligent Coaching platform—the AI-driven system that handles member goal setting, food guidance, and daily reflections.

In this role, you will lead squads that own problems from prototype to production. You will remain technical, contributing to the codebase and agent workflows, while focusing on the growth and development of your team members.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the Member Experience: Manage the AI-driven moments between human coaching sessions, ensuring seamless hand-offs and high-quality interactions.
• Drive Delivery: Lead sprint shaping, prioritization, backlog grooming, and estimation across multiple squads.
• Stay Technical: Ship production work off the critical path, review architecture, and provide hands-on guidance during incidents.
• Develop Talent: Grow managers and engineers, acting as a mentor to raise their ceiling.
• Strategic Planning: Plan team headcount, skill mix, and onboarding paths for an agent-heavy codebase.
• Set Standards: Define and document what "good" looks like for AI-assisted development and engineering quality.

About You

• 8+ years in software engineering, with 4+ years of direct management experience.
• Proven track record of shipping AI products and agents to production at scale.
• Experience measuring AI quality with evals and iterating on prompts/models.
• Strong technical background in at least one layer of our stack (Ruby, Python, React, iOS, or Android).
• Experience managing through underperformance and developing leaders.
• Excellent written communication skills.
